Parent's Club
  • What is the Parents’ Club?

Officially, the purpose of our organization is to provide voluntary services, administer social activities, and raise funds in support of and to benefit the students, faculty, administration, and parents of All Saints Catholic School. Anyone who volunteers on behalf of ASCS is a member. We do not affect school policies. Our goal is to provide a strong sense of community and togetherness for our school as well as to enhance our fundraising capabilities. We hope to provide enhanced communications and structure to the many programs and activities that take place in our school throughout the year and to help you find an opportunity to share your time and talents with the ASCS family.

  • What is Different – What can you Expect?

The Parent Club will become the umbrella organization for all volunteer activities at the school. So, operations for things like Movie Nights, SCRIP, Market Day, Book Fair, etc., will all be coordinated through this group. The CYO Boosters will continue to operate independently, but we will be working with them in order to plan and schedule events and activities. You can expect a monthly newsletter that will keep you informed of the things going on, notification of board meetings and a forum to bring us your new ideas/creativity.

  • Fundraising and Programs

While the All Saints Auction will continue to be the primary fundraising activity for our school, current economic conditions dictate that we expand our efforts so that our children can continue to receive the best educational experience possible. That being said, rest assured that we will not bombard you with requests to solicit or sell products. We are exploring options that allow us to come to together as a school community and/or include the broader Canton community. More information will be coming as the school year begins. If you have any ideas or suggestions in this area, please contact any of the board members.

In addition to our fundraising efforts, many of the programs/events that have been successful over the years will continue, including Book Fair, Field Day, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Movie Nights – plus, a few new ones under consideration including Euchre Nights, Advent Tea, Family Dinners, Wine Tasting, Bowling Night, a Sunshine/Sympathy committee…and much more!

  • Become a Volunteer…Why YOU should get involved!

As you can see, we will be a busy, vibrant community. This is where you can come in! Volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge time commitment. We understand it is increasingly more difficult to find time to give, but please, whatever your time schedule allows, we have need of you. We even have tasks that can be performed in the evenings or that don’t involve coming to the school at all.
